Tom Kirbo has spent more than 15 years in the commercial brokerage and real estate industry. Since launching Kirbo Property Services (KPS) in February 2001, Tom has completed more than two hundred thousand square feet of commercial lease transactions.
Prior to founding KPS, Tom served as vice president and director of medical leasing with Cousins Properties, Incorporated, where he completed more than 760,000 square feet of medical office lease transactions. Prominent projects leased by Tom while at Cousins include Meridian Mark Plaza, Northside/Alpharetta Medical Campus and the Presbyterian Medical Plaza in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was responsible for the pre-leasing of the Crawford Long Medical Complex.
Before joining Cousins, Tom worked with The Lea Richmond Company, a medical office management and Development Company. Tom began his career with five-year tenure as the project manager for Scott & Associates, Inc., a real estate development and investment firm located in Alpharetta, Georgia. In addition to his real estate experience, he served as campaign coordinator for Governor Roy Barnes' 1990 campaign for Governor of the State of Georgia. He is a member of the Advisory Board for Shepherd Center in Atlanta. Tom, who grew up in Bainbridge, Georgia, graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. He is married, has two children and resides in Vinings.
